Safety has become a critical part of the decision making process when taking children or young people away.

Glynmeddig Bunkhouse is a safe environment that has been designed with the high standards of safety in mind. The barn is fitted with a British Standard fire and smoke alarm system.

Risk assessments have been carried out by The Prince's Trust and the South Wales Police who have deemed it a safe place for people to stay.

With our mix of 8 bedrooms we are able to offer you plenty of flexibility with the sleeping arrangements. Bedding is provided.

The games room has table tennis & small snooker table, DVD, TV and video & can provide plenty of entertainment in the evening or on rainy days. There is plenty of room for young people to let off steam inside as well as outside the barn. There is a new all weather tennis court.

We are able to accommodate up to 4 disabled people in our downstairs bunkrooms and there is a fully equipped disabled shower and WC facility.

We are able to put schools in touch with licensed (AALA or equivalent) activity providers who will work with you to prepare the challenges that you want for your group.

If you wish to bring your group on a field or geological trip then we can put you in touch with advisors for the best places to visit. The Brecon Beacons offer some unique geological and caving systems.
