There is a lovely walk from Glynmeddig to The Shoemakers Arms along a pretty track on the western side of the river.

Having been closed for 2 years the pub was bought by the local community in February 2000 and after extensive refurbishment opened in September 2001.

Eileen and Richard now run the pub on behalf of the community and offer food and wine for all tastes. There is real ale, a beer garden, wheel chair access and customer parking.

Foods is available in the evening from Wednesday - Sunday and bar snacks are available at lunch time. Private parties are welcome by arrangement.
